Denkt man an Burgunder, insbesondere an diejenigen, die mit den Ehrentitel „Premier Cru“ geadelt sind, dann glaubt man umgehend, es mit einem kostspieligen Wein zu tun zu haben. Doch das geht auch anders, wie die rührigen Vignerons de Buxy mit ihrem exzellenten Montcuchot eindrucksvoll beweisen. Das ist himmlischer Burgunder, bei dem der Preis erstaunlich bodenständig bleibt. Die durch und durch gelungene aktuelle Edition startet mit einer hellgelben Farbe und einem verblüffend feinen Bouquet nach Zitrusfrüchten (Pampelmuse, Mandarine), leicht mineralischen Aspekten und einer zarten Holznote nach Vanille. Auch am Gaumen sehr fein und frisch, elegant mit delikatem Fruchtausdruck und einem ganz leichten Touch Holz. Das Finish finessenreich, lang und animierend, hier zeigt sich, warum der Wein als Premier Cru unterwegs ist.
