Western Legends is an open-world adventure tabletop game for 2-6 players, set in America's Wild West. Players take on the roles of historical figures of the time and earn their legendary status in a variety of ways: gambling, herding cattle, panning for gold, robbing banks, fighting bandits, chasing stories, becoming an outlaw, keeping the peace. The possibilities are almost endless.

Each player's turn starts with drawing poker playing cards and/or earning money. They then choose three actions. Possible actions include: moving around the map (how far depends on whether they have a horse), performing an action specific to a particular location (such as mining for gold if they are at a gold mine, gambling if they are in a being a saloon, and so on), fighting other players in the same location (dueling, robbing, or arresting if wanted), playing poker playing cards with action skills, and so on. Legendary Points (LPs) are earned based on the results of many of these actions, and the winner is whoever has the most LPs at the end of the game.
