Handlung
Eine brillant düstere Graphic Novel. A City On Fire ist die Geschichte zweier „Matchmaker“. Rupert stellt buchstäblich Streichhölzer in einer Fabrik her, während Frances eine Dating-Kolumne für die Zeitung der Stadt schreibt. Beide sind Einzelgänger, die im Schatten der Nacht liegend heimliche Aktivitäten aus der Ferne beobachten, aber nie an ihnen teilnehmen. Dies ändert sich an einem Abend, an dem sie beide Zeugen desselben Mordes werden und nun gezwungen sind, sich als merkwürdiges Racheduo zusammenzutun, um ihre eigenen Namen reinzuwaschen.
