Die „Weird Guy – The Cat’s Pyjamas Selvedge“ von Naked & Famous Denim orientiert sich an frühen Workwear-Denims des 20. Jahrhunderts.

Gefertigt aus 8.5oz japanischem Selvedge Denim. Aus heutiger Sicht leicht, historisch betrachtet nah an den Gewichten, die damals bereits als robust galten. Genau daraus entsteht der Charakter – ein Denim, der näher an den Ursprüngen liegt als an moderner Schwergewichtigkeit.

Das Indigo wirkt weich und leicht ausgeblichen, kombiniert mit einem beigen Schussfaden. Dadurch entsteht ein warmer, fast gealterter Ton, der nicht künstlich wirkt. 

Die Details greifen frühe Workwear-Standards auf: ein verstärkter Papierpatch statt Leder, wie er vor der späteren Standardisierung üblich war, dazu einfache Zinnknöpfe ohne dekorative Elemente.

„Weird Guy“ hat eine schmale Silhouette, die an Taille und Hüfte locker sitzt und ab dem Knie tapered ist.

I would definitely purchase again. Especially if the shedding reduces it goes away after I run it through a wash cycle. I do NOT recommend drying in the dryer. It will mat I can almost guarantee that. Almost all blankets like these do if you dry them in a dryer with heat. Maybe no heat tumble might work, but NO heat.
