 Single Cylinder Keyed

  • Features key way on the exterior side
  • Thumb turn on the interior
  • Standard application for a tubular door
  • Often paired with a dummy set for symmetry on double entry doors

Double Cylinder Keyed

  • Key way cylinder on the exterior deadbolt
  • Key way cylinder on the interior side
  • No thumbturn on interior side
  • Will need a key on both sides of the door to open the door
  • Common on glass entry doors

Dummy

  • Dummy sets have no latch and require no bore hole
  • Surface mounted to the door
  • Often used in conjunction with a passage or privacy set for double or french doors
  • Acts as a jamb, with a strikeplate for the other door's latch to fit into
